pwnds first day...glad it went ok, though thought you would have been prepared for the headache...yeah a bottle of your favorite pain pills (advil is mine), is always a must for teachers (also helps if you have a physical accident of some kind--tripping, missing a stair, etc)
$30...well that is still cheaper than my 130.

Less random there folks. April 28th needs an explanation or we will all just assume that you clearly hit your head or are too drunk to know what you are doing.
Some people may not have time. They could have excuses, like they have to get to work because if they are late one more time they will be fired by their boss and not be able to provide for their family. There are plenty of reasons why people can't stop. I do stop usually and try to help, though people don't always let me. They think they know best instead of letting me help.

some people wont be able to help and will be more of a hindrance than help (like me--no cell phone, a viral infection --see contagious, etc).....and some people are afraid of helping others (see-legal issues). etc. Lots of reasons....
now headache is migraine....so I wonder what is on my list for tomorrow......

I'm sad that not 1 person in America has my name, unless they're on vacation over there.
I don't understand the mentality "sue everything" here in DK, it's hard to sue people for something stupid, if it's big and such, ofcourse you can sue, but other than that, it's weird what one can sue another person for in some countries

Why are you sad Azzer? You are from another country chances are it will not be a common name here in America, it seems logical to me.
If this lawsuit does not get rejected by the judge, I will lose my faith in America: http://abclocal.go.com/kfsn/story?se...rre&id=7906487

Well done Tender.
And Jumping, it does not make me sad really, i've never been sad in my life ^^, but Asbjørn just is not a name an American would get, not even a danish/norwegian person that migrated and had children.

Hmm, well Asbjørn 'Bear' Riis is known to the pro-wrestling community, so you never know.
Somewhere, in a trailer in Sticksville, there may well be an American Asbjørn ^__^

Scandinavian names arent very strange at a swedish school ......(and my moms family is from sweden so yeah, lots of strange names there)......ah divine bear---thats a good name!!!

Work over the dumb virus cosy, punch yourself in the area that it's infesting. At least that will make things interesting, or your hubby will just think you've watched Fight Club one too many times and watch out for you talking about Tyler Durden.
I live in Tennessee, which is in the South... so why have we already dealt with 4 winter storms when we usually only have one snowfall that drops more than 1" on us again? WTB Dragon to clear the backroads of ice...

ooops have been trying to get some rain down into florida for my mom...but my elves seem to have messed up their gps ,......
and I find it hard to punch places that I dont know where they are (eg have no idea where this virus is hiding--though I am thinking someplace in my sinus' or ear---)...and dont feel like spending time trying to explain to the men in the white coats why I have a bloody ear! (really I was just kicking the virus' butt doc).
need some good strong meds to kick this ones butt.

Asbjørn is not Scandinavian name, it's only norwegian/danish..
My grandma was called Turid, My other grandma is Grethe.. my uncle is called Bjørnar.. my family likes old Norwegian names, since we migrated from norway, well i did not, but my father did, with his mom and dad.

last time I checked norway and denmark were both parts of Scandinavia.....
found this on google: Meaning of the name Asbjørn
Quote:
[syll. asbjørn- ] The boy name Asbjørn is used predominantly in Scandinavian and it is derived from Old Norse origins. The meaning of Asbjørn is divine bear. Two-element name derived from the words 'áss' and 'björn' with the meanings god, divinity and bear respectively. Asbjörn (Scandinavian), Esben (Scandinavian), Esbern (Scandinavian), Esbjörn (Scandinavian), Esbjørn (Scandinavian), and Espen (Scandinavian) are variant forms of Asbjørn. Ebbe (pet form in Scandinavian) is another variant of the name.
|
so sounds pretty scandinavian to me....

Yes, they're part of scandinavia, but when you say scandinavia you include Sweden, which does not have the name Asbjørn.

its a great name, be proud of it, you could have a crummy common name like John or Sue.
(and yeah the swedish would have the ö instead of the ø and would probably go with the Es instead of As....but bjorn is a very common swedish name----I still remember bjorn borg from my childhood as my sister had a big crush on him, and he has the same bday as my brother).
but yeah I get what you are trying to say. (and when looking found out my grandma's name would actually be considered danish....which does actually make sense since she grew up around Malmo----)
I wear a spring jacket in the winter.....I never wear shorts outside my house (no one really wants to see my ugly legs)....until it goes well below zero--then I think about changing over to a 'winter' coat--dang wind chill. Didnt used to be very tolerant of cold until I lived in japan with no insulation in buildings there.
I need another nap, still fighting this dang virus (stopped calling it a cold after I have had it longer than a normal cold would last).....my ears hurt!! (yeah think the nasty bug has taken up residency there )

Oh why hello folks. I haven't been around in a while. Why? Well what an excellent question. Our internet crapped out Wednesday night and I have been unable to get on. We purchased a new modem last night, because my dad swore that it was the modem that was broke, and installed it. Still no dice on the router. Why? Another excellent question. Because I'm pretty damn sure it is the ROUTER that is broke, not the modem. But of course my dad now swears it is a connection issue, so instead of getting a router, I'm supposed to call every person on Earth to try to get them to help me figure out what is wrong. The router, when plugged in, states that I am connected to the internet but I can not log onto any sites or anything. It simply says there is a connection issue. I suggested that we buy a modem AND a router at the same time, but was told no. Now we are in the same place we were before as the ROUTER still isn't working. It might have something to do with the gateway to the internet but I don't know enough to be sure. I have been trying to fix this since 9:30am and still no dice. I have called Comcast and all that fun stuff. Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
So how is everyone?
(sorry for wall-oh-text, short version: Internet broked)

pwnd. Just buy the damn router. You gotta ignore what the parents say about your network if they have no idea in what they're talking about.
